This week we’re catching up with Tilli, mum, co-founder of The Good Farm Shop.
Fresh from a school-holiday day out at Bounce, she shares her Harry Styles conversion, the country property she’s manifesting, and the quiet ritual that’s nourishing her heart.

Tilli, tell us a little about you.

Right now I am lying in my bed, absolutely exhausted after a day out with the kids at Bounce. School hols have finally taken their toll! I am a mother, a founder (of The Good Farm Shop) and a lover of colour, art, nature, adventure, delicious food and margaritas.

Aside from running the creative side of our business (I’m co-owner with my hubby Scott), I’m often found decorating my home or dreaming up what crazy idea to conquer next. I guess I’m not great at sitting still (except after big days at Bounce – ha!).

Tilli, what’s in your ears?

I am soooo into Harry Styles. After years of not being a fan, I’ve finally converted. If not Harry, then The Diary of a CEO, or whatever my kids are into, which right now is Eminem and Michael Jackson (at least we’re out of the Frozen era). I also recently remembered how much I love The War on Drugs and The National, so they’re on my playlist right now too.

What’s living in your head?

We are dreaming about a little country property. We grew up on a farm where my parents still live, but it’s a fair drive from us on the Northern Beaches. So we’re in the manifesting phase of finding somewhere a little closer that we can escape to, run our yearly Good Farm events on, and do all sorts of cool sh*t with.
A food forest, an Airbnb, unique events… that kind of thing.

In terms of reading, I’m not the best at dealing with the occasional troll online, so I have the book Let Them sitting on my bed right now… but I am yet to pick it up.

I can’t stop thinking about… when my husband will be home so he can make me dinner. (Yep, I got a good one.)

Tilli, what have your hands been busy with?

I pretty much stopped cooking when I met my hubby, so I’m the salad maker in our family and not much else. (Plus, when you own a meals business, you cook even less.) But… I just painted a feature wall in our house, and I’m trying to work out which part of the house is next. The white walls are disappearing at lightning speed, so watch this space.

& our favourite, What’s feeling true in your heart?

I’m loving praying. I don’t do it every day, but I do try to whenever I think of it. I’m not religious, but I am spiritual, so it’s kind of a mix of vomiting out a whole lot of gratitude, asking for guidance and speaking what I want. I used to do it a lot as a child, and returning to it now that I have my own beliefs is quite lovely. Sometimes my daughter joins me, and it’s so beautiful to hear what she has to say.

I’m also very happy that so many beautiful flowers have started to pop up in my garden. And the smells! Summer is on its way. Yay! x

Thank you, gorgeous Tilli.
